Project/Program Manager for Global Supply Chain focusing on Targets and Interceptors within Northrop Grumman's Space Sector. Responsibilities include strategy, planning, execution of material and services content, integration of supply chain schedules, risk mitigation, and supplier performance management for programs involving U.S. Government contracts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of Programs.
  2. Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain Schedules through strategic planning and execution.
  3. Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.
  4. Develops material strategy and leads activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
  5. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between GSC Program Management and planning, project teams, and line management.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, material requirements planning, GSC advanced planning or procurement -OR- Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, material requirements planning, GSC advanced planning or procurement for a level 3; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, material requirements planning, GSC advanced planning or procurement may be considered
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, material requirements planning, GSC advanced planning or procurement -OR- Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, material requirements planning, GSC advanced planning or procurement for a level 4; in lieu of degree an additional 4+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, material requirements planning, GSC advanced planning or procurement may be considered
  • Must have experience with Bills of Materials and design effectivity planning
  • Must have previous experience in Supply Chain with U.S. Government contracts
  • Must have experience in Advanced Planning and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Ability to read blueprints and have manufacturing requirements understanding
  • Ability to obtain an active U.S. Government Secret level cleara
