Tax Manager - Nat’l Federal Tax Services - Strategic Partnership Solutions

This role is for a Tax Manager focused on Strategic Partnership Solutions within Deloitte's National Federal Tax Services. The position involves applying U.S. federal income tax knowledge to clients undergoing public offerings, SPACs, and other complex transactions. A key aspect is creating and improving computational software applications and proprietary solutions related to partnership tax, data analytics, and user experience, leveraging proprietary technology like iPACS.SubK. The role also includes leading engagement teams, mentoring staff, and participating in marketplace activities and technology innovation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Refine your skillset with the ability to work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients on matters that mean the most to them.
  2. Diversify your industry experience by working on a plethora of various industries including private equity, healthcare, tech, financial products, oil & gas, green energy, real estate, consumer products, and other various industries.
  3. Deliver value to client experiencing a public offering (including SPACs) and interact with external counsel, underwriters, client executives, and capital market professionals through the SEC public filing process.
  4. Assist our client with public offering transactions including but not limited to initial proxy and registration statements for Up-C and SPAC structures.
  5. Work with Up-C clients on an on-going basis during periodic service periods during the year.
