Tax Senior Consultant Legal Managed Services

This role focuses on transforming contract lifecycle management processes for multinational organizations by leveraging enabling technologies and process reengineering. The Senior Consultant will work with corporate legal departments, assisting with end-to-end contract management, including review, drafting, and negotiation. The role involves using contract lifecycle management technologies and adhering to key performance indicators for speed, efficiency, and accuracy.

What you'd actually do

  1. Review, abstract, draft, redline, negotiate a broad range of commercial contractual agreements, including but not limited to: NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, licensing agreements, Software as a Service Agreements, distributions agreements, data protection agreements, marketing agreements, and sponsorship agreements.
  2. Escalating agreements, as needed, per the contract negotiation playbook.
  3. Delivery of the above activities in accordance with agreed upon key performance indicators tracking speed, efficiency, and accuracy.
  4. Build (under guidance of Counsel), review and update contract negotiation playbooks, as necessary.
  5. Identify process and operational efficiencies within the legal department contracting function.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong substantive understanding of general commercial contractual agreements and the key clauses typically found in these agreements i.e. limitation of liability, indemnification, warranties, termination etc.
  • 3+ years of experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing general commercial contractual agreements
  • Level of familiarity with technology and its application in the contract lifecycle management field
  • Strong Microsoft Office and other technology skills including, but not limited to, Excel, PPT, Visio, Power BI, Tableau
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain: Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
