Tax Senior - Dart (depreciation Analysis and Reporting Tool)

This role focuses on tax compliance and consulting, specifically using a proprietary tool called DART (Depreciation Analysis and Reporting Tool) for fixed asset tax services. It involves analyzing tax data, identifying tax planning considerations, and assisting clients with tax calculations and reporting. What you'd actually do

  1. Participating in engagements requiring tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates including reviewing public information and tax-specific information.
  2. Analysis and deployment and use-case identification of innovative technologies and process to drive value and efficiency through our client engagements.
  3. Research and analysis of a wide range of tax issues encountered on our projects while working closely with both our local engagement teams and our Partners.
  4. Day-to-day participation and leading project management and delivery of tax advisory and consulting services to the client.
  5. Day-to-day interaction with engagement teams, both domestically and internationally, in order to ensure proper staffing and participation on engagements teams.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years’ experience in core tax compliance, including federal and/or international.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or another business-related field.
  • Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for CPA or Licensed attorney or Enrolled Agent or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA)

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree such as MST or MAcc.
  • Mid-Level to Advanced skills in MS Project, Word, Excel.
  • Experience with Tax Depreciation Software including Sage, Bloomberg, PowerPlan TFA, etc.
  • Demonstrated effective research and verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience or equivalent
