This role is a Team Leader for Operations in John Deere's Construction & Forestry Fabrication division. The primary responsibilities include leading a production team to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency goals through Continuous Improvement (CI) plans. The role also involves communicating job expectations, facilitating training, coaching, and setting performance standards, as well as elevating the safety culture. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills, a self-motivated and results-driven approach, demonstrated leadership and organizational abilities, and the capacity to make timely decisions and troubleshoot complex equipment. Experience with CI processes, lean manufacturing, 5S, and union employee policies is a plus. A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.
