Technical Account Manager (TAM) role focused on advising Datadog's largest customers on technical support, product adoption, and maximizing value from Datadog's observability and security platform, which utilizes AI. The role involves analyzing customer IT environments, advocating for customer goals, and collaborating with internal product and engineering teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Advise on technical support and product adoption for customers in line with pre-sales, post-sales and the renewal processes
  2. Analyze customer’s IT Operations environment on a regular basis and provide recommendations that will maximize Datadog’s value.
  3. Be the customer’s advocate by knowing their goals and use cases then suggesting process changes, product adoption, configuration and additional features to meet their requirements
  4. Participate and prepare for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews with customers
  5. Collaborate with Datadog’s product management, engineering and technical services teams to help identify new features and products

Skills

Required

  • technical grounding
  • hands-on experience of IT Operations
  • AWS, Azure or GCP
  • scripting languages like Python, Javascript, Ruby, Perl, Go, PHP, or Chef/Puppet etc.
  • CI/CD tools e.g. Jenkins, Gitlab etc.
  • Containerization tools e.g. Docker, Kubernetes or Rancher etc.
  • Datadog and/or other cloud monitoring tools
  • Fluent in written and spoken Portuguese and English

Nice to have

  • Previous experience working as a TAM supporting mid-market and/or Enterprise customers in the cloud space
