AWS Technical Account Manager (TAM) is a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for Enterprise Support customers, helping them gain value from AWS services. The role involves advising on solutions, providing technical guidance, ensuring operational health, developing customer relationships, driving technical discussions, and collaborating with various AWS teams. Responsibilities include reviewing service events, planning launches, and solving migration problems. The role also involves uplifting customer capabilities through workshops.

What you'd actually do

  1. You’ll advise on solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer
  2. Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity
  3. Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
  4. Using your technical acumen and customer obsession, you’ll drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  5. Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives

Skills

Required

  • operational parameters and troubleshooting for compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data and analytics, security, or applications development in a distributed systems environment
  • engaging, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • English and Hebrew languages

Nice to have

  • architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
  • Programming or scripting skills with a combination of Java, Python Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Developer, DevOps Engineer etc.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration / Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef
