AWS Technical Account Manager (TAM) role focused on being a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for enterprise support customers. The role involves crafting and executing strategies for AWS service adoption, providing strategic technical guidance, and ensuring operational health of customer environments. It requires building strong customer relationships to understand business needs and technical challenges, and collaborating with various AWS teams (Solutions Architects, Sales, Professional Services) to drive customer value. The role also involves consulting with partners, managing incidents, and conducting workshops to uplift customer capabilities. Basic qualifications include experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for compute, storage, networking, CDN, databases, DevOps, big data/analytics, security, or application development in a distributed systems environment, along with technical engineering experience and Hebrew & English proficiency. Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings, and experience in an internal enterprise or customer-facing technical lead role.

What you'd actually do

  1. You’ll build solutions, provide technical guidance and advocate for the customer
  2. Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy whilst reducing cost and complexity
  3. Develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
  4. Using your technical acumen and customer obsession, you’ll drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  5. Consult with a range of partners from developers through to C-suite executives

Skills

Required

  • Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
  • Experience in technical engineering
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Hebrew & English language proficiency

Nice to have

  • Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
  • Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead
