Technical Account Manager, Observability

This role is a post-sales Technical Account Manager focused on helping enterprise customers derive sustained operational value from Snowflake's Observe product, which is an observability platform. The TAM will partner with customer SRE, DevOps, and platform teams to integrate Observe into workflows, optimize telemetry, and improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. The role requires strong experience in observability, distributed systems, and cloud-native architectures, acting as a trusted technical advisor.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary technical owner and trusted advisor for assigned strategic accounts
  2. Build deep familiarity with customer architectures, datasets, use cases, and operational goals
  3. Partner with SRE, DevOps, and platform teams to integrate Observe into day-to-day operational workflows
  4. Optimize datasets, queries, dashboards, and alerts for reliability, signal quality, performance, and cost
  5. Lead regular health checks, architecture reviews, and proactive improvement initiatives
