Technical Accountant

ElevenLabs ElevenLabs · AI Frontier · United States · Operations

This role is for a Technical Accountant at an AI research and product company. The primary responsibility is to provide US GAAP guidance, research complex standards, and draft technical memos. The role requires experience in a fast-moving, pre-IPO or recently public environment and will cover areas like equity, stock-based compensation, revenue recognition, and leases. The candidate will work with various internal teams and external auditors.

What you'd actually do

  1. As our Technical Accountant, you will be the go-to resource for US GAAP guidance across the organisation – researching complex standards, drafting technical memos, and helping the business navigate new transactions, structures, and reporting requirements with clarity and confidence.
  2. You will cover everything from equity and stock-based compensation to revenue recognition, leases, and emerging product structures – working directly with the Financial Controller, Legal, FP&A, and external auditors.
  3. The right candidate has done this before in a fast-moving, pre-IPO or recently public environment, and is ready to build the technical foundation that will carry ElevenLabs through its next stage.
