This role is for a Technical Advisor focused on hyperscale cloud environments, providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and mentorship for secure, high-performance, and cost-efficient cloud deployments. It involves working across product engineering and business stakeholders to shape cloud initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer success. Key responsibilities include developing cloud strategies, providing expertise in cloud software architecture and development (Kubernetes, microservices, IaC), leading solution design and implementation, driving adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards (FedRAMP, HIPAA, GDPR, CMMC), and stakeholder communication. The role requires 7+ years of technical enterprise experience with 4+ years of hands-on cloud experience, proficiency in modern programming languages, and experience with major cloud platforms and automation tools. While the company is in the AI space (OCI), this specific role is focused on the underlying cloud infrastructure and strategy, not direct AI/ML model development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and drive cloud strategies that align with business objectives, inspire teams, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  2. Provide guidance and technical leadership in cloud software architecture and development.
  3. Lead the end-to-end design, development, deployment, and optimization of large-scale, highly available cloud solutions.
  4. Drive adherence to cloud governance policies, industry security standards, and best practices (e.g., FedRAMP, HIPAA, GDPR, CMMC).
  5. Communicate complex technical solutions clearly and persuasively to C-level executives, internal teams, and external partners.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of technical enterprise experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on cloud experience
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
