Technical Architect - Mulesoft

Salesforce Salesforce · Enterprise · Rome, Italy

Salesforce is seeking a MuleSoft Technical Architect to join their Professional Services team. This role involves designing and overseeing the implementation of complex enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, focusing on API-led connectivity, enterprise architecture standards, and deployment topologies. The architect will act as a technical escalation point, guide customers in setting up Centers for Enablement (C4E), and manage technical risks. The role requires extensive integration experience, deep understanding of API-led connectivity and enterprise integration patterns, and proficiency in object-oriented programming and integration development tools. While the company mentions AI and agents, the core responsibilities of this role are focused on enterprise integration architecture using MuleSoft, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide guidance on API-led connectivity best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, deployment topologies (CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, On-Premises), environment management, and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform education.
  2. Drive the creation of application and technical design documents that leverage MuleSoft best practices and effectively integrate disparate systems into the customer’s infrastructure.
  3. Guide customers in setting up C4E operating models to drive API reuse, self-service, and agility across their organization.
  4. Address key customer implementation issues and demonstrate the ability to drive complex technical challenges to a successful resolution.
  5. Proactively identify and manage technical risk areas, committing to seeing issues through to complete resolution.
