Salesforce is seeking a Technical Architect (Presales) to act as a domain expert for their AI CRM platform, advising CIO/CTO level decision-makers on cloud infrastructure, AI, security, and integration. The role involves understanding business and technical requirements, demonstrating Salesforce products, conducting workshops, and supporting sales teams with RFI/RFPs. The candidate will also contribute to enablement and marketing activities by creating technical assets and presenting at events. Experience with enterprise AI technologies and CRM solutions is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide advice to CIO/CTO level IT decision makers and their IT teams who are looking to migrate their business to cloud architecture
  2. Understand customer needs and consider all Salesforce products as the optimal solution to address technical and business requirements
  3. Build and present customized demos of Salesforce Platform's declarative and programmatic capabilities, and Agentforce
  4. Conduct technical workshops and enablement sessions for customers
  5. Work closely with other departments such as product marketing, product sales, and alliances to develop and execute programs and initiatives for internal and external audiences

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in proposal activities for CRM (Sales, Service, Marketing areas)
  • Skill in creating/customizing demos of any Salesforce solution
  • Basic knowledge of web-based platforms such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS (e.g., multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, application servers, network and information security)
  • Experience in system integration proposals based on SOA, ESB, ETL, API technologies
  • Experience in system proposals based on enterprise AI technologies
  • Consulting skills such as logical thinking, problem-solving, and presentation
  • Ability to understand the concerns of customer information system departments and communicate smoothly
  • Ability to learn new technologies and products, strong curiosity
  • Ability to work as a team with account teams and other specialists
  • Experience in presentations/demonstrations at seminars and events
  • Intermediate level English proficiency (speaking/reading/writing)
  • Ability to travel domestically

Nice to have

  • Advanced level English proficiency (speaking/reading/writing)
  • Programming experience in any web application (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript, Ruby, HTML, XML, Python, Node.js, Go, AJAX etc Including Open source languages is better)
  • Knowledge of other cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS
  • Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge of back office, ERP systems (order management, accounts receivable / payables, collections, contracts (service), installed base)
  • Facilitation skills to lead workshops and group work
