Armada is seeking a Technical Compliance Program Manager for Federal Programs to guide their AI infrastructure products through federal accreditation processes like FedRAMP High and DoD IL5/IL6. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing requirements based on NIST 800-53 and other standards, and engaging with stakeholders like 3PAOs and Authorizing Officials. The goal is to ensure on-schedule, audit-ready releases for government clients.

What you'd actually do

  1. Plan, track, and execute end-to-end accreditation efforts (FedRAMP High, RMF, IL5/IL6, and agency-specific ATOs).
  2. Translate cybersecurity standards and practices within the U.S. federal government such as NIST 800-53, CNSSI, STIG, and related control frameworks into actionable engineering tasks and milestones.
  3. Align Security, Cloud, Hardware, DevOps, and Federal teams; manage artifact creation, testing, and FedRAMP POA&M closure.
  4. Serve as primary point of contact for 3PAOs, Authorizing Officials, Executive Offices, and internal leadership, providing concise status and risk reports.
  5. Maintain integrated program plans, manage dependencies (e.g., supply chain), and develop mitigation strategies.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years of technical or program management experience
  • at least 3 years leading products through FedRAMP High and/or DoD IL5/IL6 accreditation
  • Demonstrated expertise with RMF, NIST 800-53, DFARS, CMMC, and coordination with 3PAOs and government Authorizing Officials
  • Strong technical background in cloud infrastructure and networking
  • Proven ability to establish planning cadences and communicate program status effectively to senior leadership
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret or higher security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Nice to have

  • Experience delivering ruggedized or disconnected systems through classified ATOs
  • Relevant certifications (PMP, SAFe, CISSP)
  • Track record of scaling processes from early-stage to large-scale federal contracts
