Salesforce is seeking a Technical Consultant to join their Professional Services team within the Customer Success Group. This role involves working with customers to discover, design, code, and deploy Salesforce Platform solutions, including enterprise integrations. The consultant will provide technical thought leadership, evaluate and implement technical solutions, and troubleshoot customer implementation issues. The role requires strong object-oriented programming skills, understanding of APIs and architectures, and proficiency in both English and Italian.

What you'd actually do

  1. Become a highly certified and recognized Salesforce expert.
  2. Help clients consistently meet/exceed goals and metrics.
  3. Contribute to customer success through front and backend solution development and release management.
  4. Deliver high client satisfaction (CSAT).
  5. Provide guidance on the application and integration development best practices, Enterprise Architecture standards, functional and technical solution architecture & design, environment management, testing, and Salesforce Platform education.

Skills

Required

  • 5 years of experience minimum in IT space
  • Hands-on technical and solution implementation experience in a relevant software domain
  • coding experience in object oriented languages
  • Ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes via technology and integration
  • Ability to support customers and project members in rationalising and deploying emerging technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • good presentation, communication and facilitation skills
  • Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally depending on customer needs
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Proficiency in both English AND Italian languages
  • Strong background in object-oriented programming (e.g., Java)
  • understanding of REST/SOAP API design, microservices, and event-driven architectures

Nice to have

  • Salesforce Certifications
  • Experience with the Salesforce Platform and / or other CRM products
  • Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud and / or other products in the billing and revenue space (Conga, CloudSense, Zuora)
  • Ability to build and manage relationships
