The Technical Customer Success Manager role at Carbon Robotics supports customers in the agricultural sector, ensuring the smooth operation of the LaserWeeder™ system. Responsibilities include field service, maintenance, repair, operator training, and technical problem diagnosis. The role requires a strong technical understanding of mechanics, electronics, and software, with experience in precision farming being desirable. The position involves significant travel and collaboration with international teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Technical field service and direct customer support
  2. Maintenance, calibration, repair, and inspection of the LaserWeeder™
  3. Training of operators for safe and effective use of our products
  4. Diagnosis and resolution of technical problems (electrical and mechanical)
  5. Close collaboration with our teams in Germany, Europe, and the USA

Skills

Required

  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • Agricultural and Construction Machinery Mechatronics Engineer / Degree in Agricultural Sciences with a technical focus
  • Strong technical understanding (mechanics, electrics, software)
  • Independent and solution-oriented working style
  • Willingness to travel (75%+ during peak season)
  • Willingness to provide emergency services during the season
  • Driver's license for cars, cars with trailers, and ideally tractors
  • Very good German skills (written and spoken)
  • Proficient use of common IT systems
