Technical Expert (government)

This role supports the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in providing IT services and connectivity in a Department of War (DoW) environment. Responsibilities include contractual compliance, network infrastructure management, PKI and SSO support, performance tuning, capacity planning, security architecture alignment, technical validation, and serving as a final escalation point for complex incidents.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the Program Manager in execution of contractual compliance.
  2. Manage integration with the DoD Internet Access Points (IAPs) and network infrastructure, including configuring Access Point Names (APNs) for secure mobile routing. Ensure IPv6 dual-stack compliance and optimal enterprise routing/switching to maintain high performance.
  3. Support Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)-derived credentials and Single Sign-On (SSO) for mobile and desktop users; implement Kerberos Constrained Delegation (KCD) to enable secure enterprise mobility management.
  4. Conduct ongoing performance tuning and capacity planning to meet stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Design and execute strategies for 99.9% availability, including redundancy and failover testing.
  5. Serve as final escalation point for complex incidents. Provide expertise to swiftly restore normal operations and implement preventive measures for future.

  • Deliver, deploy, and sustain an unclassified Cloud Service Offering (CSO)
