Anduril Industries is a defense technology company developing advanced military capabilities. This role is for a Technical Operations Engineer on the Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) team, focusing on unmanned aerial vehicles (Group 1-3 drones). The engineer will support military operations by executing flight operations, conducting field maintenance, providing customer support and training, deploying products to austere locations, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues. The role involves communicating field issue status, developing operational and logistical plans, ensuring system availability, maintaining support plans, assisting in event planning, conducting root-cause analyses for incidents, and maintaining documentation. The position requires significant travel and the ability to obtain security clearances and specific FAA certifications.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support military operations by executing flight operations, conducting field maintenance, providing customer field support and training.
  2. Deploy our products to austere locations and work alongside our customers for extended periods of time.
  3. Tackle complex issues related to hardware, software, and networking in unstructured situations, driving them to resolution.
  4. Communicate field issue status to internal and customer teams, keeping them informed.
  5. Support the development and implementation of comprehensive operational and logistical plans for various events.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain 14 CFR Part 107 and 14 CFR 61 Ground School. Must be able to obtain and maintain a FAA Class II Medical.
