Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Technical Operations Engineer for their Space Systems product line. The role involves end-to-end support for hardware, including setup, configuration, integration, and troubleshooting within government buildings. Responsibilities include hardware installation, network configuration, cabling, electrical system coordination, and managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with building and electrical codes. The role requires significant travel and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide end-to-end support for our Space Systems hardware, including setup and configuration.
  2. Pre-configure systems and ensure seamless integration with customer infrastructure.
  3. Troubleshoot hardware issues in real-time, applying analytical thinking and hands-on problem-solving skills.
  4. Follow command-line instructions to perform necessary hardware configurations.
  5. Configure and troubleshoot networking environments, including Cisco switch/router configurations, VLANs, and routing.

Skills

Required

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, both low-voltage and high-voltage.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and collaborate with customers and team members.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Proficient in working with hands and tools to assemble, repair, and maintain technical hardware in the field.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from start to finish.
  • Proven experience in server installation, cable routing (fiber and Ethernet), and electrical coordination.
  • Hands-on experience with rack installation, patch panels, and cable management systems.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Ability to meet health and medical requirements in advance of deployments

Nice to have

  • Experience with Linux system administration, comfortable following command-line instructions.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting networking environments, including Cisco switch/router configurations, VLANs, and routing.
  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Military background and active security clearance
