What you'd actually do

  1. Develop a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  2. Manage discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  3. Own, maintain, and develop a product and client backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  4. Build the framework and track the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  5. Establish product KPIs/OKRs and analytics instrumentation to measure usage, satisfaction, and business impact; run experiments and A/B tests to improve engagement. Optimize adoption to drive desired business outcomes.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Technical expertise and experience in data analytics (e.g., SQL or Python) – candidate needs to have the ability to analyze data to make decisions
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, evaluation metrics, drift, explainability) and translating them into product features and controls
  • Management consulting skillset (problem solving, impact orientation, business understanding, program management, executive presence, top down communication, presentation skills)
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable product strategies
  • Exhibit leadership in driving cross-team collaboration and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
  • Apply rigorous prioritization skills to balance competing demands and maximize product impact
  • Utilize exceptional project management abilities to deliver products on time and within budget

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business discipline, Masters in math, statistics, analytics or Business is preferred
  • Experience in the payments industry and/or fintech or technology-enabled industries is a plus
  • Experience in creating solutions leveraging AI and fluency with the different AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences and build consensus across diverse stakeholders
  • Possess a proven track record of launching and scaling data-driven products in a commercial environment
