Visa is seeking an experienced Technical Program Director to lead a group of program managers and manage large, complex, end-to-end IT initiatives within their Operations and Infrastructure group. The role involves working across technology domains to deliver new features, products, and services for the global payments and financial services marketplace, requiring a strong technical foundation to guide teams in planning, designing, and delivering high-volume, resilient platforms. Responsibilities include managing project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and driving decision-making across virtual teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with cross-functional groups including internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, etc.), and external customers/vendor to formalize program and project infrastructure design.
  2. Lead coordination of non-standard HW/SW Delivery across key Technical SMEs in various Technology Domains (Systems, Database, Middleware, Network, etc.)
  3. Lead discussions and communicate regularly with senior leadership on technical issues, program status, and escalations.
  4. Provide leadership and oversight of program performance and ensure compliance with management and information security policies
  5. End-to-End Program Management of multiple initiatives across Visa’s Technology and Product groups with alignment to strategic business objectives.
