As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities
- Own and drive the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional engineering efforts within a specific domain or product area.
- Lead programs using Agile methodologies. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile ceremonies and help software teams adopt and mature their Agile practices to improve efficiency.
- Implement governance structures for prioritization and execution within your assigned area to ensure alignment with key success metrics.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders across teams to ensure project alignment and buy-in.
- Use sound judgment to drive project planning, scheduling, execution, and communication, building consensus among team members and partners.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience managing the unique complexities and fast-paced lifecycle of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) software development projects.
- Experience in helping teams measure and improve operational excellence, product excellence, and accessibility.
- Expertise in leading Agile transformations, with a track record of coaching and upskilling less mature engineering teams in Agile delivery and ceremonies.
