The Technical Program Manager, AI Platform role at Anduril focuses on driving the end-to-end execution of AI programs within the defense technology company. This involves partnering with various engineering and product teams to translate ambiguous problems into technical plans, establishing program operating rhythms, and implementing AI-enabled automation and agentic workflows to improve engineering and business operations. The role also supports the adoption of frontier AI tooling and AI-native development practices, aiming to make Anduril an autonomous enterprise.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end execution of AI programs, from opportunity framing and roadmap definition through launch and adoption.
  2. Partner with software engineers, AI engineers, product leaders, and business stakeholders to turn ambiguous problems into clear technical plans and delivery milestones.
  3. Drive alignment across data, platform, application, security, and business teams to ensure AI initiatives are properly scoped, sequenced, and resourced.
  4. Establish and run program operating rhythms including sprint planning, dependency tracking, executive updates, risk management, and launch readiness reviews.
  5. Help teams evaluate and implement AI-enabled automation, agentic workflows, and internal tooling that improve engineering and business operations.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, product operations, systems engineering, software delivery, or a closely related role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional programs involving software systems, technical dependencies, and multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong technical fluency in modern software systems, APIs, data flows, and system architecture; able to engage credibly with engineers on design, integration, and execution trade-offs.
  • Experience translating ambiguous business or operational needs into structured plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating program status, risks, and decisions to technical and executive audiences.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data.

Nice to have

  • Experience delivering AI/ML, workflow automation, or data platform initiatives into production environments.
  • Experience in hyper growth startup-like environments, with demonstrated success in scaling execution processes while preserving speed.
  • Familiarity with LLMs, agents, AI coding assistants, and the practical challenges of deploying AI systems in business-critical workflows.
  • Understanding of enterprise systems and business process domains such as ERP, MES, WMS, CRM, finance systems, or manufacturing systems.
  • Experience building operating cadences for highly cross-functional organizations spanning engineering, product, operations, and business leadership.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
