Description
We are looking for TPM (Technical Program Manager) to collaborate with multi-functional teams. The candidate will play a meaningful role in the development of Apple products including working with cross functional team to automated manual process, looking for opportunities for more effective manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Engagement in new product engineering builds, assist in reviewing Work as a team leader for Process, Test, Automation and Quality Engineers in the development of critical modules, sub-assemblies, and components that enable amazing new features for Apple products. Serve as Senior Operations technical leader during all engineering builds as well as ramp, providing a single technical voice to internal project teams as well as external suppliers. Ensure all technical risks associated with a product are identified and mitigated to enable the qualification, scale-up, and implementation of modules into high volume mass production. Through all phases of development and product introduction, you will partner closely with Engineering, Operations, and Procurement teams to enable success of new product introductions. Day to day focused activities include design for manufacturing reviews, drive process recipe developments, machine and line level buy-offs and ramp execution. AI empowered closed loop process optimization and expert system development for critical knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications
BS degree or above, majoring in Materials Science, Mechanical/EE/Automation Engineering Solid understanding of core ML/AI concepts, algorithms (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning), and model evaluation techniques Good English communication (written & spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
5 years of hands-on experience in Design / Manufacturing Process Development Proficiency in the following areas: -Design for manufacturability, FMEA, tolerance stack-up analysis -Laser welding, laser soldering, glueing, adhesive films, assembly -Statistical data analysis, understand basic statistical tools used in manufacturing, exp. SPC, capability, Design of experiments, regression, modeling GD&T (geometric dimensioning and tolerances) Excellent project management skills, working in a matrix organization Demonstrable track record of leading a multi-functional team in order to achieve new product objectives inclusive of quality, yield, and cost Experience in massive data analysis, coding and machine learning/AI application would be a plus
