Technical Program Manager - Core Autonomy

Applied Intuition Applied Intuition · Robotics · Sunnyvale, CA · Self-Driving Systems

This role is for a Senior Technical Program Manager responsible for the performance and release of the autonomy stack for L2+ passenger vehicles, L4 trucks, and mining vehicles. The TPM will define performance metrics, manage the release cycle, prioritize projects to improve driving performance, and build reporting for engineering and customer-facing teams. A background in autonomy, robotics, or ML is required, along with experience in technical program management.

What you'd actually do

  1. Performance measurement: Define and own how we measure and forecast the stack's reliability, so leadership knows not just where we stand today but where we're headed.
  2. Release ownership: Drive the stack's release cycle end to end - coordinate how the Core team ship to multiple vertical projects, and manage expectations with downstream teams.
  3. Prioritization: Identify the key projects to improve the driving performance with engineering leads, and unblock the execution
  4. Reporting: Build the reporting that gives engineering and customer-facing teams a clear, shared view of performance and release status.

Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in technical program management, engineering, or a related field
  • Ability to context switch effectively across multiple projects
  • Willing to operate without a fixed lane - making the product call one day, running the analysis or building the dashboard the next
