Technical Program Manager - Graphics

Drives execution of development programs in alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget within the GFXIP PMO. Partners with IP design and verification teams, engaging with engineering and business stakeholders across the organization. The role offers exposure to Graphics, GPU Compute, Machine Learning, and related technologies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define, plan, and drive projects and program plans based on management and senior technical guidance
  2. Create and maintain project management artifacts, including schedules, resource plans and forecasts, and risk and issue logs
  3. Scope technical feasibility of new products by clarifying and analyzing requirements with hardware architects, technical leads, and engineers
  4. Identify development risks, implement prevention and mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues to reduce engineering cost and schedule impact
  5. Collect, analyze, and publish project performance data through dashboards and recurring status reports

Skills

Required

  • Experience with horizontal leadership and matrix management
  • Strong understanding of requirements, documentation, and defect management
  • Ability to quickly grasp concepts during discussions and translate them into actionable next steps
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts and processes to stakeholders
  • Analytical, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate progress regularly
  • Proven strength in resource planning and forecasting
  • Experience working in high-pressure environments with competing priorities and tight timelines
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, Confluence, and Excel

Nice to have

  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus
