Technical Program Manager for Google Pixel hardware development, focusing on coordinating and delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. This role involves working with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate effectively across cross-functional teams, including those leveraging AI, software, and hardware to build smartphones and create user experiences.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinate and deliver program communications in close collaboration with program stakeholders, including metrics progress, meeting notes, meeting AIs, decision/escalation logs, newsletters, and websites.
  2. Collect data relating to program progress from program stakeholders. Maintain project trackers and status reports in close collaboration with program stakeholders.
  3. Author program charter that addresses scope and timeline of basic program, specify program objectives and key results (OKRs), and explain resource requirements/dependencies, in close collaboration with program stakeholders.
  4. Author stakeholder map that specifies who is impacted by, and who influences, program outcome in close collaboration with program stakeholders.
  5. Triage technical bugs and feature requests alongside engineering stakeholders for purposes of prioritization, resourcing, and tracking execution.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of experience in program management.
  • Experience across all phases of a product development from prototype to mass production to end of life.
  • Experience working on hardware engineering or manufacturing engineering teams.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the consumer hardware industry.
