The Technical Program Manager II for Audio and Connectivity on the Pixel Watch team will lead and manage the full program lifecycle for Audio, BT offload, and Connectivity initiatives. This role involves managing dependencies, vendor communication, triaging technical issues, and driving continuous improvements to ensure alignment with product and engineering objectives for watch software products. The position requires experience in program management, consumer electronics, software development lifecycle, and embedded systems.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and manage the full program lifecycle for Audio, BT offload, and Connectivity initiatives, ensuring alignment with product and engineering objectives on watch software products from concept to launch.
  2. Manage dependencies and deliverables across engineering teams working on audio processing, Bluetooth stack optimization, and general device connectivity.
  3. Manage vendor/OEM communication on technical topics and drive active work-streams with them.
  4. Triage and assess the impact of technical issues related to audio and connectivity, and work to resolve tooling and process issues that support engineering execution.
  5. Develop systems to identify continuous improvements and drive future optimizations for the audio and connectivity program space. Monitor and communicate program progress, risks, and mitigations to all stakeholders.
