Technical Program Manager, Maritime

This role is for a Technical Program Manager on the Maritime team at Anduril, a defense technology company. The role involves managing the development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of subsea robotics systems. The TPM will ensure program execution, drive technical outcomes, manage project planning and risks, handle contract management, engage with customers, and lead test event execution. The role requires a strong background in robotics, technical project management, and systems engineering, with experience in government contracts and a Secret security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work within a team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of AUV through integration, test, verification, and demonstration efforts.
  2. Ensure successful execution of programs in accordance with desired requirements, on schedule, and on budget.
  3. Drive technical outcomes through meticulous understanding of system performance, managing incident response and after-action, using metrics to derive insights into areas for improvement, quantifying the improvements made through investment in those areas, and maintaining a clear understanding of the state of the system that can be communicated to the customer.
  4. Develop project scope and manage changes through the life of the project. Identify, track, and manage project risks. Generate and maintain project schedules.
  5. Provide contract management support including statements of work, change orders, financial management, terms and conditions, data rights assertions, etc. Manage deliverables, including routine status updates and final delivery to the customer.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of Science degree in systems engineering or related field
  • 7+ years of robotics experience, specifically in technical project management and/or systems engineering, or related project management and/or systems engineering experience in a relevant industry.
  • Must be able to conduct system test, integration and troubleshooting
  • Experience leading or executing product development of any type of system from TRL 3-8.
  • Understanding of government contract structure and reporting.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
