Technical Program Manager responsible for organizing and enabling research teams to deploy new AI models quickly and efficiently. This role bridges research and products, overseeing the end-to-end model lifecycle from post-launch monitoring to deprecations, and focuses on scaling the team by building necessary tools and processes for a rapidly expanding model portfolio. It involves coordinating early access programs and managing dependencies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Bring clarity to ambiguity by partnering with researchers and engineers to steer goal-setting processes and turn open research questions into clear milestones and actionable plans.
  2. Oversee the end-to-end model lifecycle, including post-launch monitoring and model deprecations, while scaling the team by building the tools and processes needed to support a rapidly expanding model portfolio.
  3. Track, report, and drive the most critical project dependencies, maintaining a strong awareness of downstream impacts.
  4. Partner closely with Developer Relations (DevRel) and AI Studio API Product Managers (PMs) to coordinate early access programs.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring smooth information flow across the program and adapting your approach to share critical information and influence positive outcomes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in technical program management, driving program delivery from concept to completion.
  • Experience in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) field.

  • Experience partnering with senior engineering and research leadership to deliver straightforward solutions to complex and technical spaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize, and adapt plans and strategies as project conditions change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technical domains to understand challenges and risks while balancing broad trade-offs and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop meaningful relationships with key partners to influence action and outcomes.
