As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Establish the core business cadence, including executive reviews and monthly operational rhythms. Drive executive communications to craft a unified strategic narrative, ensuring alignment across engineering stakeholders and leadership.
- Drive strategic planning and holistic portfolio management. Translate company missions into tangible OKRs and operational goals. Define governance, review investment health, and establish consistent metrics in collaboration with cross-functional leads.
- Partner with finance and engineering leadership to align business goals with resource reality.
- Act as the primary strategic partner to leaders to define power efficiency strategy. Lead ambiguous cross-organizational projects to develop pipeline.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- Experience in portfolio management and data center architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience working across cross-organizational portfolios and teams.
- Experience with power analysis, power efficiency measurement, and test.
- Experience in machine learning platforms and systems, with knowledge of design and deployment as well as the software stack.
- Excellent engineering program management skills, with the ability to drive and land cross-functional programs in infrastructure efficiency (e.g., compute, storage, and ML resource efficiency).
