Technical Program Manager, Robotics

Lila Sciences Lila Sciences · AI Frontier · Alewife, Cambridge, MA · Robotics

Technical Program Manager for a Robotics team building autonomous robotic systems. The role involves coordinating cross-functional projects, maintaining documentation, supporting planning, surfacing and resolving blockers, improving standard practices, and communicating program status. Requires experience in advanced robotics and program coordination, with a curiosity for robotics, AI, and hardware-software integration.

What you'd actually do

  1. Coordinate day-to-day execution of cross-functional projects within Robotics and collaborations with other Lila departments, tracking milestones, dependencies, and risks.
  2. Maintain clear project documentation, status updates, and meeting notes so engineers and partner teams stay aligned.
  3. Support the planning and kickoff of new workstreams, defining scope, timelines, and deliverables alongside team leads.
  4. Surface blockers early and help drive them to resolution across hardware, software, AI, and integration partners.
  5. Improve standard practices for project intake, prioritization, and handoffs as the Robotics portfolio scales.
