Technical Program Manager, Trust Security

This role is for a Technical Program Manager on Meta's Trust & Security team, focusing on defining, planning, and executing security programs to protect Meta's platforms and users. What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with security engineering, product management, infrastructure, and other teams to drive the investigation, definition, and delivery of trust and security initiatives
  2. Create development and delivery strategies and schedules based on security requirements, technical challenges, and business needs
  3. Manage communication within and between internal security teams and cross-functional partners
  4. Work with teams to set milestones, communicate program status, and identify/address potential risks and blockers
  5. Drive engineering teams to bring security-related technical issues to closure

Skills

Required

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years experience as a Program Manager managing security, infrastructure, or systems engineering programs
  • Experience with security program management and risk assessment methodologies
  • Experience with threat modeling, vulnerability management, or security incident response processes
  • Knowledge of program issue/bug tracking and risk management
  • Communication experience and experience working with technical security teams
  • Problem solving and organizational experience
  • Experience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Background in cybersecurity, information security, or related security domains
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience managing trust and safety or security programs at scale
  • Experience with security compliance frameworks and audits
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
