Visa is seeking a Technical Project Manager to manage moderate to complex infrastructure-related projects for clients in the EU region. The role involves providing project management support, consultative services, and coordinating with technology and product teams for VisaNet endpoint implementations and connections. Responsibilities include managing project artifacts, communications, and ensuring client expectations are met.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide project management support to Visa clients (financial institutions and processors) operating in the EU region, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded. Manage a wide variety of project initiatives, primarily around IT infrastructure, including network and application configuration, using project management best practices and skills.
  2. Cooperate directly with clients to understand their setup requirements, facilitate new requirements around installations, conversions and maintenance requests without operational impact.
  3. Provide consultation sessions to clients and internal implementation teams and act as the subject matter expert for the supported connectivity products, including network infrastructure, server, and application configuration.
  4. Coordinate efforts with other internal and external project resources to ensure deliverables and commitments are met.
  5. Work closely with Visa’s technology and product teams to understand new business initiatives, as well as impact on current and new client projects.

  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to achieve results as part of an effective team, and ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task under deadlines.
  • Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, etc.).
  • Proficiency in English: The candidate must be fluent in English language, both written and spoken. This includes the ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and write reports and business correspondence in English.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge and understanding of networking, client-server architecture, cloud computing, and network configuration would be a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge of Visa network including client connectivity to Visa network would be an added advantage.
