Technical Specialist, Claude Code

This role focuses on driving adoption of Anthropic's Claude Code product within enterprise customers. It involves technical enablement, running workshops, supporting pilots, building demo applications, and gathering field feedback to inform product development. The role requires a strong technical voice and the ability to engage with developers and department leaders on AI coding tools and agentic workflows.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and deliver customer-specific enablement programs — workshops, office hours, "build your first agent" labs, role-based curricula for engineering, data, platform, security, and knowledge-worker audiences
  2. Drive deep adoption of proprietary Claude Code capabilities that make our tools sticky (subagents, hooks, MCP servers, headless mode, managed settings) tailored to the customer's stack, repos, and actual workflows (CI/CD, IDE integration, source control, secure coding, agentic pipelines)
  3. Partner with Account Executives, Applied AI, and customer engineering leads on pilots for strategic accounts
  4. Design, scope, and run on-site and virtual hackathons inside customer organizations
  5. Build production-quality demo apps, reference architectures, and code samples on the Claude Developer Platform, Claude Code, and Claude Enterprise (including Cowork) — using the products daily yourself as core infrastructure

Skills

Required

  • 5–7+ years in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer Advocate, Technical Specialist, Sales Engineer)
  • Experience building and delivering technical enablement programs
  • Experience building demo applications and reference implementations
  • Experience with enterprise developer workflows (CI/CD, IDE integration, source control)
  • Experience with AI coding tools and agentic workflows
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with Anthropic's products (Claude Code, Claude Enterprise, Cowork)
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience with security, scale, or agent behavior in AI systems
