Technical Support Specialist (government)

This role supports DoD and federal defense customers by assisting with the preparation of deliverables, reports, and briefings, and supporting project execution within a structured government environment. It requires experience in defense-support environments, familiarity with government processes, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Required

  • Demonstrated experience performing duties within a DoD, federal, or defense‑support environment
  • Ability to operate effectively in a structured, mission‑driven, and customer‑facing government setting
  • Experience supporting programs with defined task orders, performance metrics, and delivery timelines
  • Ability to comply with all federal government contracting, suitability, and security requirements
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with military, civilian, and contractor personnel
  • 4+ years of related experience
  • Prior experience supporting USMC, DoD, or other federal defense organizations
  • Familiarity with Marine Corps organizational structures, operational processes, or logistics/IT environments
  • Experience briefing or supporting senior government or military leadership
  • Understanding of federal acquisition, compliance, or operational frameworks
