Technical Video Content Intern, Developer Ecosystem

Twilio is looking for a Technical Video Content Intern to create short-form video content for their developer audience. The intern will learn about structuring developer-centric content, improve coding skills, and gain experience with video editing. Responsibilities include planning, creating, and distributing video content across social platforms, and appearing on camera. Requires current enrollment in a university program, basic video editing skills, foundational knowledge of web technologies and APIs, and proficiency in at least one programming language.

What you'd actually do

  1. Ideate, develop, and release a specific short-form video series tailored for social platforms.
  2. Assist in growing Twilio's developer audience through short-form video that educates and entertains developers on Twilio's platform (Content Creation).
  3. Develop content concepts, outlines, and scripts for tutorials and explainers (Pre-Production).
  4. Regularly appear on camera to deliver engaging technical content.
  5. Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure content is technically accurate and aligned with developer needs.

Skills

Required

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a Junior or Senior, preferably studying Computer Science, Communications, Film, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of how to create and edit short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
  • Foundational knowledge of web-based technologies, including but not limited to APIs, and HTTP methods/requests.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language of your choice.
  • Strong developer empathy and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Nice to have

  • Basic hands-on experience with video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar).
  • Familiarity with tools for screen capture, livestreams, or recordings.
  • Experience working with Airtable or similar tools for content planning and production workflows.
