Technician - Clean Utilities - Night Shift

This role supports the manufacturing process by operating, monitoring, maintaining, and shutting down clean utility systems and equipment within mechanical rooms. Responsibilities include improving equipment uptime, performing preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with other departments, all while adhering to cGMPs and safety procedures.

What you'd actually do

  1. support the manufacturing process through involvement with start-up, operation, monitoring, maintaining and shutdown of clean utility systems and equipment within Clean Utility mechanical rooms.
  2. improve equipment uptime, line efficiency, and increase overall equipment effectiveness in a production environment by condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and assisting in engineering changes
  3. Performing preventative and predictive maintenance on related clean utilities and systems that support manufacturing.
  4. Performing activities such as troubleshooting, hands on repairs on all related clean utility equipment and systems, and WFI point of use flushing.
  5. Following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Business Practices.

Skills

Required

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Minimum 2 Years of related experience
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Preventative and predictive maintenance
  • cGMP knowledge
  • Basic troubleshooting equipment usage (multi-meters, calipers)

Nice to have

  • Experience with Maximo, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on nights (2-2-3 schedule)
  • Experience with clean utility systems (WFI stills, Clean Steam Generators)
