Merck is seeking a Technician (Technical), Operations in Wilson, NC. This role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing and packaging equipment, ensuring adherence to GMP and SOPs. Responsibilities include operating equipment, performing line clearance, setup, process monitoring, alarm response, and assisting with maintenance tasks. What you'd actually do

  1. Operate and maintain various manufacturing and packaging equipment to routinely achieve production standards while following GMPs and SOPs.
  2. Complete effective line clearance, cleaning and inspection including the completion of required documentation.
  3. Setup and adjust the equipment by using appropriate tools to ensure proper alignment and proper clearances.
  4. Maintains and transports all required processing equipment, materials, supplies and products needed to support manufacturing and packaging.
  5. Perform and document equipment challenges per current procedures.
