Sales Director for Oracle Technology Cloud solutions in the Civilian sector, responsible for sales strategy, team leadership, pipeline management, customer relationships, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve revenue targets. Requires experience in technology sales management, U.S. federal government clients, and regulated environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for Oracle Technology Cloud solutions within the Civilian sector, identifying key opportunities and aligning Oracle offerings with agency priorities.
  2. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technology cloud sales professionals, establishing a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and sales excellence.
  3. Drive disciplined pipeline management, forecast accuracy, territory planning, and execution to consistently achieve and exceed business objectives.
  4. Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior DHS and Civilian sector decision-makers, contracting officers, and technical stakeholders to understand mission requirements and technology modernization goals.
  5. Partner with solution engineering, architecture, and product teams to position Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Technology Cloud solutions that address security, compliance, performance, and mission-critical requirements.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of technology sales management experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with U.S. federal government clients
  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Proven ability to build and execute strategic sales plans
  • Strong track record of driving team performance, talent development, and business growth
  • Deep understanding of Federal procurement processes, contract vehicles
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise technology solutions, and digital transformation initiatives
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Nice to have

  • preferably focused on cloud infrastructure, platform, or enterprise technology solutions
  • preferably within DHS / Civilian or related sectors
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Technology Cloud offerings preferred
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required
