The role supports welding processes by performing various technical tasks, ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures. Responsibilities include identifying and implementing improvements in welding and manufacturing processes, validating procedures and equipment, preparing reports, and training new employees on safety and welding standards. Requires a degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify problems related to welding and manufacturing processes and implement improvements in said processes.
  2. Provide support to welding processes with activities such as validation of procedures and equipment, implementation of best practices in welding and manufacturing, in addition to the preparation of reports.
  3. Train new employees in safety procedures, policies and standards related to welding.

Skills

Required

  • Industrial Engineering, Mechanical or related degree
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques to recognize, anticipate, and resolve organizational, operational, or process problems; ability to appropriately apply problem-solving knowledge to diverse situations.
  • Ability to convey, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs using different means of communication.
  • Understanding the importance of maintaining focus on current responsibilities and the ability to bring thoughts and tasks to completion.
  • Understanding the necessity of the process and the value of precision; ability to complete tasks with high levels of accuracy.
