Telecommunications Infrastructure Analyst

This role focuses on telecommunications infrastructure analysis and strategic planning for a defense technology company. The analyst will assess IT infrastructure needs (power, cooling, cabling, network, security), develop technical site plans, ensure compliance with IT standards, and translate technical details into Statements of Work (SOWs). The role requires strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including design and integration vendors.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will establish and maintain the critical bridge between the Facilities organization and the external low-voltage design and integration vendors providing essential IT technical consultation to both parties to ensure successful technical outcomes.
  2. Conduct site visits to assess infrastructure needs, including power, cooling, structured cabling, network capacity, and security.
  3. Develop technical site plans in collaboration with third-party architects, low-voltage design firms, and engineering teams.
  4. Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards and security policies.
  5. Gather comprehensive infrastructure requirements and conduct detailed evaluations.

What the JD emphasized

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a Network and/or Systems Infrastructure role.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in infrastructure analysis, site build, and M&A assessments.
  • Proven experience in gathering and evaluating infrastructure requirements.
  • Strong ability to translate technical details into actionable SOWs.
  • Must be a U.S. Person and eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
