Chewy is seeking a Telehealth Veterinary Technician to join their Healthcare Team, focusing on revolutionizing virtual care, improving pet health compliance, and providing excellent customer service. The role involves supporting and educating pet parents, providing expertise on animal health, participating in program development, identifying platform improvements, and collaborating on new services and products.

What you'd actually do

  1. The Telehealth Veterinary Technician will participate and champion the support and education to Chewy's pet parents on products and services that help animal health and wellbeing.
  2. Provide subject matter expertise on companion animal health and wellness for Chewy Health.
  3. Participate in program development and improving training procedures.
  4. Identify and triage platform improvements and support innovative advancements.
  5. Collaborate with Chewy Health Team Members on the development of current and new services and products.

Skills

Required

  • Active Vet Tech License / Certification (CVT, LVT or RVT)
  • Veterinary Technology associates or bachelor’s degree from a NAVTA and/or AVMA-CVTEA accredited program, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of small animal veterinary experience or equivalent industry experience
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Exemplary listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask comfortably
  • Comfortable collaborating with other veterinary technicians, veterinarians, applying a team-oriented environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, self-starter environment
  • Team Member’s internet speed must be at least 50 Mbps (download) and 10 Mbps (upload)
  • Designated working space that is quiet and free from disruptions
