This role is a Business Development Representative focused on selling Oracle's Cloud and AI solutions to organizations. The primary responsibility is to generate and qualify sales opportunities by understanding customer business challenges and articulating Oracle's value proposition. The role involves prospecting, engaging with potential clients, and collaborating with sales teams to move opportunities through the pipeline, utilizing CRM and AI-assisted tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. Generate and qualify demand for Oracle Cloud solutions through inbound inquiries, outbound prospecting, account-based engagement, and digital marketing campaigns.
  2. Identify, engage, and nurture targeted accounts to drive awareness and adoption of Oracle's AI, Data Platform, Cloud Infrastructure, and SaaS solutions.
  3. Apply a consultative, value-based approach to understand customer priorities, business challenges, and strategic objectives.
  4. Clearly articulate Oracle's differentiated value proposition, demonstrating how data, applications, infrastructure, and AI work together on a secure, integrated cloud platform.
  5. Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Marketing, and Partner teams to progress qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline.

Skills

Required

  • 3–5 years of experience in a B2B environment, preferably within technology, SaaS, software, cloud, or digital solutions.
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies, cloud computing, data platforms, and AI-driven business transformation.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated mindset with strong organizational and execution capabilities.
  • Ability to think critically, adapt quickly, and engage confidently in dynamic customer conversations.

Nice to have

  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Oracle CX Sales, Salesforce, Seismic, Outreach, or similar tools is advantageous.
  • Ability to effectively engage and communicate with senior stakeholders, including C-level executives.
