Gong Gong · Enterprise · Chicago, IL · GTM Strategy & Planning

This role is for a Senior Manager, GTM Field Operations at Gong, a company that uses AI to transform revenue teams. The role involves serving as an operational partner for a North America Revenue Unit, owning the operating rhythm, turning data into decisions, and managing performance. It requires strong operational rigor, bias for action, and the ability to build trust with senior stakeholders. The role partners with various teams like Strategy & Planning, RevOps, and Enablement, and collaborates on reporting, analytics, and tool adoption, including Gong itself.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary operational point of contact for your assigned segment's reps, managers, and senior leaders — owning end-to-end ops needs.
  2. Own and enforce the business operating rhythm without exception: weekly/monthly forecast and pipeline reviews, deal reviews, account reviews, KPI and headcount tracking, and QBR/MRR prep.
  3. Partner with Strategy & Planning on territory methodologies, capacity models, and headcount plans that translate the annual plan into RU-level execution priorities.
  4. Collaborate with Analytics/BI to design reporting and dashboards giving visibility into performance, productivity, and pipeline health.
  5. Evaluate the cost/benefit of any proposed solution — people, tools, or process — before recommending it; favor scalable fixes over one-off, high-touch solutions.
