Territory Account Executive

Salesforce is seeking proven sales performers to grow their customer base for their Manufacturing and Energy industry vertical in South India. This is a hunter role focused on new business development and expanding footprint within existing customers, driving strategic CRM initiatives. Responsibilities include developing relationships, leading complex sales cycles, presenting to C-level executives, and forecasting sales activity. Requirements include 7+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in software or technology, a successful track record managing deals in the specified region, and consistent quota overachievement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Developing and maintaining relationships within our Manufacturing and Energy industry vertical focused on accounts in Chennai and Tamilnadu region..
  2. Leading complex sales-cycles and presenting to C-level executives the value of our enterprise suite of applications.
  3. Rich C-level connect in in Chennai and Tamilnadu region..
  4. Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in Salesforce, while creating satisfied and reference-able customers.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience carrying quota and closing deals in software (business applications preferred) or technology sales.
  • Successful track-record managing deals with customers in Chennai, Tamilnadu and Kerala.
  • Consistently over-achieved quota in past positions.
  • Ability to create customer value and Volume deals.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles in manufacturing and energy industry.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.

Nice to have

  • Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills.
  • Previous Sales Methodology training preferred.
  • CRM experience preferred.
  • Understanding of Cloud computing technology is preferred
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, team environment.
  • Strong customer references.
  • Strong digital literacy, including CRM, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
