Territory Account Executive - Mid Market

Salesforce is looking for a Territory Account Executive to drive strategic, enterprise-wide sales initiatives into Mid market accounts in India. The role involves exceeding sales targets, developing pipelines through cold calling and market knowledge, and engaging with prospects to position Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of solution sales experience, a proven track record of closing Mid Market deals, and consistent quota overachievement.

What you'd actually do

  1. To exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets by selling Salesforce solutions into Mid market accounts and within an assigned geographical or vertical market. You will handle the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
  2. Territory identification and research, to formalize a go-to-market territory strategy and create a qualified target account list within 30 days.
  3. Pipeline development through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge/resourcefulness.
  4. Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated market sector(s).
  5. Engage with prospect organizations to position Salesforce solutions through strategic value-based selling, business-case definition, value analysis, references, and analyst data.

Skills

Required

  • Successfully sold into Industries like Communication/Media, Hospitality, Travel, Transport/ Logistics or Entertainment Industries
  • 7+ years of solution sales experience selling CRM, ERP, or similar.
  • A proven track record of driving and closing Mid Market deals.
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals.
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
