Salesforce is seeking proven sales performers to help grow their customer base for their Growth Business segment in India. This is a hunter role focused on new business acquisition and expansion within existing customers, driving strategic CRM initiatives. The role requires a combination salesperson and evangelist for Cloud Computing and Salesforce penetration. Responsibilities include developing relationships, leading complex sales cycles, presenting to C-level executives, forecasting sales activity, and demonstrating products. Requirements include 7+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in software/technology, a successful track record with Indian customers, consistent quota over-achievement, ability to create customer value and volume deals, and experience managing complex sales cycles. Desired skills include strong communication, sales methodology training, CRM experience, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Developing and maintaining relationships within our Mid Market-Commercial Business segment focusing on customers in India
  2. Leading complex sales-cycles and presenting to C-level executives the value of our enterprise suite of applications.
  3. Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in Salesforce, while creating satisfied and reference-able customers.
  4. Demonstrating our product via the Web and in person.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience carrying quota and closing deals in software (business applications preferred) or technology sales
  • Successful track-record managing deals with customers in India
  • Consistently over-achieved quota in past positions
  • Ability to create customer value and volume deals
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
