Territory Account Manager - Northern China

This role is a strategic sales position requiring an in-depth knowledge of how technology is used to enable business goals or overcome business challenges and to generate value for our customers and F5. Must effectively sell F5’s products and services using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers and assist them in applying the products/services to their needs resulting in revenue generation. This is typically an individual contributor role. This is a quota carrying role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Sells F5 products or services to and maintains relationships with existing key accounts in Beijing and regional market customers in the Northeastern 3 provinces (Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang) and Inner Mongolia.
  2. Responsible for expanding and retaining accounts within assigned territory while ensuring ongoing customer service by engaging with all levels of the organization including executives, leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision making processes and overcomes objectives to closure, and closes sales in a professional and effective manner
  3. Responsible for significant key partner relationship management and development. Facilitate executive-level relationships between the customer, F5 and partners; facilitating communication on strategic and tactical issues and maintaining continuity
  4. Must understand organization’s business needs, develop application of products and services and communicate how F5’s technical value-added solutions will address those needs
  5. Determine market strategies and goals for each product and service; understanding the strategies, goals and objectives of accounts

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of direct IT solutions sales experience to key enterprise customers in Northern China including Beijing, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia
  • Knowledge in networking and security products, preferably those of F5
  • Excellent command of business level of English

Nice to have

  • BA/BS degree preferred, or equivalent level of experience
