Seeking a Territory Sales Manager responsible for growing agency relationships and increasing profit within an assigned area. The role involves managing agents, developing local marketing plans, and acting as a subject matter expert on GEICO products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospects, interviews, and approves new appointments to expand GEICO’s agency distribution.
  2. Manage agents within a designated area of responsibility using in person, virtual, phone, and email to build relationships, deliver trainings, and manage agency performance. Implements policies and procedures of the agency program.
  3. Takes national strategic initiatives and translates them into local goals and objectives; GAINS commitment and holds agents accountable for execution.
  4. Monitors the performance of agents in relation to goals, procedures, and guidelines.
  5. Counsels’ agents, and with leadership support, takes disciplinary action of agents up to and including termination.
